A valid challenge Natalie. Where I’m coming from is that after nearly 60 revolutions around the sun I have learned to pick my battles. I know what polite means and sometimes (and I mean sometimes because sometimes it’s necessary to stand your ground and fight) this is a valid strategy to stop yourself from getting needlessly incarcerated or killed.

With either of these outcomes you are taken out of the fight and therefore no longer useful to the cause of AntiRacism.

I understand and agree with your point, every strategy has its place and sometimes a gracious retreat is the best one.
