Dune is a work of fiction in a world that is not our own. Why then must the cast in a work of fiction be made up by the ethnic majority of the country where the film is being made?

Where the film needs a more accurate representation of ethnicity, of course the ethnic mix of the film should reflect this.

Finally, even now Hollywood movies still do not represent the true ethnic mix of the location of story. It is about time this changed.
