I agree with most of what you wrote. I too try to be friendly and polite to everyone including white people. However I need to say that it is very important that we see colour. To say that you got to the point where you don’t see colour denies the diversity in humanity. You probably didn’t mean it that way but when white people say they don’t see colour this is a red flag for me as it is a microaggression.

We must always see colour and treat every colour with respect.
