I love the term CHOSSA and have already used it in some of my posts. It is a powerful word that accurately and positively describes those of us whose ancestral homeland is Africa, even though we don’t know who or where our people are from on this continent.

Now we have this term, I ask all of us CHOSSA to fight to stop this term going the same way as the stolen AAVE word “woke” that is largely being used in the pejorative. We must not let this happen. ✊🏾✊🏿
