Thank you for sharing Rebecca. It seems that we Black are all doomed to face racism whenever we travel. I’m so sorry you had to face this experience.

My White wife my mixed race daughters and I have had to face similar experiences. Fortunately on my most recent trip last weekend it went largely (but not totally) without incident.

I do need to thank and recognise the help my family and I received from Virgin Atlantic cabin crew when two overt racists in seats behind us continually disturbed us as we were trying to get some well needed sleep. And by London Heathrow security check staff when my daughter lost her phone.
