Thank you for your insightful article and I agree that reparations, in the form of cash to the family members of their enslaved and colonised ancestors, is and will always be insufficient to heal the wounds inflicted by the global white suprematist system. However reparations in the form of building an infrastructure that supports, promotes and honours Black people and people of colour would go a long way to establishing equity for those that will come after us.
By the way, Black History Month is also celebrated in Canada, in the United Kingdom and is a growing movement across Europe.
