That’s not the point at all, the point is that Black women are told by men and white women that their natural hair (long or short or any style in between) is not considered acceptable in professional situations and is only tolerated (not accepted or embraced) in social contexts.

What right has anyone to tell a woman how she should wear her hair, especially a Black woman!
