I agree with your premise. A friend who is extremely well known in UK Christian circles tweeted this weekend that he only has one white friend that he can have a genuine conversation about racism. Of my many white friends, relatives and colleagues, I probably only have 2 or 3 people and one of those is my wife. Because of flammability, we run the very present risk of being burnt to varying degrees based on the intensity of their reaction.
